Hugo Barra, Vice President Xiaomi, mengklaim Mi Notebook Air didesain dengan bentuk yang begitu tipis dan ringan dengan seluruh bodinya berbahan metal. Mi Notebook Air hadir dengan dua ukuran layar. Yaitu berukuran layar 13,3 inci yang dijual seharga RMB 4.999 atau sekitar Rp 9,8 juta. Dan satunya berukuran layar 12,5 inci yang dibanderol RMB 3.499 atau sekitar Rp 6,9 juta
